Job Description
The Medication Reconciliation Pharmacy Intern PRN is responsible for performing tasks involved in the preparation and distribution of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The role involves reviewing and assessing medication orders, preparing intravenous admixtures, and maintaining a clean and orderly pharmacy.

Requirements

  • Highly detail oriented and well organized
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate clearly with pharmacy staff
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times, including attendance and phone etiquette
  • Ability to lift 50 to 100 lbs
  • Ability to climb, crouch, bend, stoop, push, or pull
  • Knowledge of the principles and procedures associated with pharmacology
  • Good communication skills along with the ability to translate technical information into terms the general public can understand
