Role OverviewWe are seeking a Medication Technician to join our team at Fair Oaks Estates, a secure gated community offering Assisted Living and Memory Care for older adults with dementia. The successful candidate will dispense medications to residents and oversee the care and medication needs of our Memory Care Wing.
What You Will Do
The Medication Technician will communicate with the resident care director, ensure Department compliance, follow medication guidelines, and assist residents with medications. They will also assist with med-room tasks, manage resident emergencies, and help on the floor as a caregiver when necessary.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Med Tech or Certified Nursing Assistant, previous supervisor or management experience, knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures, and the ability to stay calm in stressful situations and prioritize and multitask.
