Job Description
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and controlling inventory activities. This role involves validating production receipts and discrepancies, performing inventory adjustments and transactions, shipping, creating shipping documents, and assisting with physical inventories and cycle counting. The position reports to an Inventory Control Manager and requires strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Requirements

  • 80% time spent monitoring inventory activities
  • Validating all production receipts and/or discrepancies
  • Perform inventory adjustments and transactions under the guidance of the Inventory Control Manager
  • Perform electronic transfers
  • Assist in controlling and monitoring the cycle counting program
  • Assist and participate in all physical inventories
  • Create bills of lading and prepare international shipments
  • Provide constant interaction with transportation drivers
  • Assist traffic manager with clerical duties
