Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, math, finance, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, benefits administration, insurance services, membership services, or union environments required; public safety or nonprofit experience preferred.
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret contract language, eligibility rules, and insurance plan provisions.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel formulas, sorting, filtering), data entry, digital file management, and compliance auditing.
  • Typing speed 50+ WPM; ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages accurately.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) and ability to travel locally for outreach preferred.
