Role OverviewThe Member Services Representative will deliver professional customer service, relationship building, and sales skills to create a welcoming environment at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area. The incumbent will provide in-depth information related to BGCCA programs, activities, and special events while assisting with the attraction and retention of members, including the collection and processing of monetary transactions and information for members, participants, and guests.
What You Will Do
The primary responsibilities of the Member Services Representative include greeting and welcoming guests, maintaining office security, maintaining electronic and hard copy filing systems, providing basic and accurate information regarding Club programs/events, answering and screening incoming phone calls, managing and updating general voicemail/message service, receiving and distributing daily mail/deliveries, and responding to and following procedures for incidents and emergencies.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in member services and/or customer service
- Experience with computers, software, phone systems, and data management preferred
- Must be 21 years of age
