Role OverviewThe Membership Experience Staff will be responsible for delivering an outstanding member experience at the Richmond County Family YMCA. They will work with all staff to welcome, connect, support, and engage all members, guests, and staff. The staff will ensure the highest quality service to members and guests, promote a professional work environment, and lead in a manner that advances the YMCA's cause.
What You Will Do
The Membership Experience Staff will perform various tasks, including greeting members by name, implementing daily operations of the Welcome Center, maintaining cleanliness of the area, and replenishing supplies. They will also complete membership/program paperwork, give tours of the facility, and answer multiple line phones with the YMCA greeting.

The ideal candidate will possess business professional communication skills, be able to interface with basic software programs, and have experience in member services, programs, or a related field. They will also be able to perform math skills required to accurately manage money and accounting procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- YMCA experience in member services, program, or a related field
- Ability to interface with basic software programs and use phone systems
- Ability to perform math skills required to accurately manage money and accounting procedures
- Certification in CPR/First Aid/AED/O2/CAP within 60 days of hire
- Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check and Child Protective Services check
