Role Overview

The Membership Growth and Retention Specialist is responsible for developing, retaining, and increasing girl/adult membership, along with recruiting and providing ongoing support to volunteers. This position is a full-time role with flexibility, working 37.5 hours per week, including weekends and evenings.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include developing and implementing plans for membership growth and retention, scheduling and managing recruitment events, delivering the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, and providing onboarding and ongoing support to volunteers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2-3 years related work experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a PREFERRED
  • Ability to work a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, including weekends and evenings
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong communication skills, including listening, written, and verbal communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including cultivating, motivating, and maintaining effective working relationships with volunteers and staff from diverse backgrounds
