Role Overview

The Activity Assistant plays a vital role in enriching the lives of residents by creating a joyful and engaging environment. They help residents feel seen, heard, and valued with warmth, patience, and genuine care.

What You Will Do

Create engaging, age-appropriate activities for residents with different physical and cognitive abilities, and balance daily schedules and multiple residents.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Successful completion of a State approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program or a CNA competency evaluation program approved by the State
