Job Description
Alsco Uniforms seeks a Mender to repair damaged textiles using patching/sewing machines and by hand. The role involves operating machinery, grading textiles, and meeting efficiency and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Grasp textiles from a cart/bin then sort, inspect and grade according to production repair standards.
  • Safely and with skill operate machinery for patches, labels or stitching.
  • Process textiles according to type and written instructions.
  • Return repaired textiles back into service.
  • Continuously meet efficiency and safety standards for the position.
  • Follow instructions as directed by supervision.
  • Keep work area neat and clean.
