Job Description
Koinonia Family Services is seeking a part-time Mental Health Behaviorist to provide mental health supportive services, supervision of youth, and support/crisis intervention services to youth in the program. The role offers a great chance to support youth who have experienced trauma and the opportunity to work alongside a committed team of professionals to learn cutting-edge, evidence-based treatment modalities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • AA or BA in behavioral health, child welfare, or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience providing behavioral health services to youth and their caregivers preferred
  • Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
  • Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to interact successfully with youth from differing social, cultural, racial and religious backgrounds
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in daily duties
  • High personal integrity and a strong commitment to excellence
