Role OverviewThe Mental Health Clinician will provide evidence-based, trauma-informed services to children and families impacted by abuse, neglect, and child welfare involvement. This role is essential to ensuring comprehensive, high-quality, trauma-informed care for every child and family served.
What You Will Do
Deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed services, conduct comprehensive screenings and assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide clinical case management.

Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related Human Services field
- Current licensure in the State of Florida (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist), Registered Intern status with the Florida Board, or eligibility for licensure with active pursuit of Registered Intern status with the Florida Board
- Minimum of two years of post-master's supervised experience providing intervention and treatment to children and families impacted by trauma
- Certification or advanced training in evidence-based trauma treatments and frameworks (e.g., TF-CBT, EMDR, PCIT, ARC, MI, TBRI)
- Experience administering trauma screenings and assessment measures, conducting clinical interviews, and performing behavioral observation
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record documentation in compliance with Medicaid standards
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team across the client's clinical journey
- Knowledge of child abuse and neglect, the child welfare system, and adoption processes
