Job Description
Comprehensive Life Resources is seeking a qualified Mental Health Counselor to join their team in Tacoma, WA. The ideal candidate will provide case management and counseling services to adult outpatient clients. The position involves working with a clinical care team to provide integrated healthcare and developing treatment plans to achieve client goals. The candidate must have a strong understanding of Motivational Interviewing Techniques and cognitive behavioral interventions.

Requirements

  • Provide clinical case coordination and counseling to assigned clients
  • Work as part of a clinical care team to provide integrated healthcare to consumers at CLR
  • Complete risk assessments and coordinate treatment planning and services with other program staff, other consultants, relevant agencies, and individuals
  • Utilize Motivational Interviewing Techniques, cognitive behavioral and other evidence-based interventions to engage clients in the recovery process
  • Attend treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and designated staff training and consultation sessions
