Mental Health Practitioner - IRTS

Requirements

• Conduct a variety of assessments
• Complete interpretative summaries and develop crisis/treatment/behavioral plans and goals for clients
• Lead group and individual counseling services
• Implement the treatment/rehabilitative activities and strategies
• Participate in weekly staff meetings
• Report significant / major incidents or accidents
• Establish high levels of mutual trust and support with others
• Provide coaching/learning environment
• Provide and promote consumer choice and facilitates independence
• Promote the operation in a positive manner to the community and outside agencies
• Promote/encourage community integration and choice making
• Notify proper authorities of circumstances or situations that present possible health hazard
• Observe and implement established policies on health, safety, security, code of conduct, regulation, and company policies
• Manages assigned personnel
• Completes performance evaluations, orientation, and training
• Makes decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions
• Resolves employee problems within position responsibilities
