Job Description
The Mental Health Technician (MHT) is responsible for direct care of mental health patients, performing supportive, trauma-informed care and maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Knowledge of Dayton Children's values and ability to model them through effective interaction with patients, families, and treatment team members.
  • Strong therapeutic communication skills.
  • Ability to ask pertinent questions and report patient information as indicated.
  • Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality and privacy guidelines.
