Role OverviewThe Mental Health Tech is a non-exempt position responsible for the well-being of all clients at the Level II Residential Treatment Facilities. The role involves ensuring client safety and ratio, maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment, and providing crisis intervention. The Mental Health Tech will also assist with meals, observe and record medications, and complete shift reports.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with co-occurring disorders
- Previous experience in a residential setting
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite and Electronic Health Records
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Detail and organization skills are critical
- Must obtain/maintain CPR, First-Aid, and Med Tech certification
- Ability to work in a stressful environment under sometimes difficult client situations
- Ability to lift and or carry supplies, files, medication, etc., up to 25 lbs. when required
- Must have a valid driver's license with auto insurance coverage
