Role OverviewMental Health Technicians provide a caring and safe healing environment for patients experiencing mental illness. They work with a collaborative care team to provide comprehensive, personalized care. This role is instrumental in addressing emergent and urgent issues as needed.
What You Will Do
Perform activities of daily living, provide patient care treatments, collect patient data, respond to call lights, and assist nurses with procedures. Document and chart care provided in the electronic health record.

Requirements
- Completion of a post-secondary education program in behavioral sciences
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- 1 year of supervised experience in the delivery of services to persons with mental illness
- 1 year of similar related health care experience
