Job Description
Mentor Community Services provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Mental Health Technician, you will provide direct support to individuals in residential, vocational, or in-home settings, and work from a primary program or site location. You will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day activities, providing socialization and behavioral development, personal care, and recreational activities. You will also be expected to maintain healthy and professional relationships with individuals, friends, families, and case managers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Six months of experience in human services preferred
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must be able to obtain a level one fingerprint card
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Car registration and vehicle insurance if providing transportation for individuals receiving services
