Job Description
Mental Health Technician provides direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential, vocational, or in-home settings. The position is responsible for providing day-to-day activities such as socialization, skill acquisition programming, personal care, and transportation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be able to obtain a level one fingerprint card
  • Six months of experience in human services preferred
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Car registration and vehicle insurance if providing transportation for individuals receiving services
  • All state-required training and certification completed in mandated timeframes
