Role Overview

We seek a Mental Health Clinic Therapist to join our Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUCC) team in Philadelphia, Pa. This posting is Full-time, First Shift (Monday - Friday 10:30am - 7:00pm EST).

What You Will Do

The clinically licensed Master’s level mental health and/or substance use professional will provide high quality urgent behavioral health services. The position conducts assessments, delivers evidence based interventions, provides brief resolution focused therapy, and actively participates in care coordination to support individuals experiencing urgent behavioral health challenges.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges, particularly in crisis, urgent, or other similar setting
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based and resolution focused interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with individuals and colleagues
  • Empathy, compassion, and a person-centered approach in delivering behavioral health urgent care
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
