Role OverviewThe MEP Superintendent - Building Controls is a critical field leadership position responsible for overseeing building controls and mechanical construction activities in the field, providing leadership to field foremen and trade partners, and ensuring successful completion of controls work in alignment with project schedule, quality, safety, and budget goals.
What You Will Do
Assist with bidding opportunities, develop project site logistics plans, manage labor force, review material budgets, monitor project costs, and provide leadership in quality and safety processes.

Requirements
- 7–10+ years of applicable field leadership experience
- Significant experience in building controls, mechanical, or MEP construction field operations
- Experience with relevant large-scale commercial or industrial projects
- Previous experience directing and coordinating building controls/mechanical trades
- Strong knowledge of building controls systems, construction principles, field practices, and sequencing requirements
- Experience leading installation of ductwork, piping, mechanical equipment, and related building controls systems
- Self-perform construction management experience highly preferred
- Previous experience working closely with Project Management teams through successful completion of project phases
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, shop drawings, and coordination documents
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and production performance
