Role OverviewWe are seeking a Merchandise Buyer to join our team in New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Associate and Assistant Buyers, collaborating with the Planning team, and driving sales plans. They will need to have a strong eye for fashion, excellent communication skills, and the ability to negotiate with vendors.
What You Will Do
As a Buyer, you will be responsible for monitoring sales, executing promotions, working closely with key marketing and ecommerce partners, and successfully driving sales plans. You will also lead a team and need to motivate, engage, and inspire others, as well as provide leadership and training.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- at least two years of buying experience
- off price, mass retail, or other aspects of retail experience
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- understanding of market trends and ability to forecast for upcoming trends
