Role Overview

The Merchandising Assistant Store Manager leads a team of associates to ensure customers receive exceptional service in a clean, safe, well-stocked store. They are accountable for achieving sales and margin goals while driving operational efficiencies.

What You Will Do

Anticipate customer flow, plan for sales spikes, conduct safety walks, and coach associates on safe work practices. Lead a team to ensure proper coverage and in-stock position.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Requires 2 years of experience leading associates in a retail environment, 3 years of experience in a fast-paced work environment, and ability to lift 25 pounds. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and experience working in the home improvement retail sector.

  • 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional work environment
  • 1 year of experience performing manager-on-duty responsibilities
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration
