Role OverviewThis position is responsible for managing and developing the company’s positions for commodities in the CA local market(s) in addition to supporting and facilitating commercial origination and trading activities across the organization.

Manage inbound and outbound logistics, ensure timely product deliveries, manage risk positions, identify market opportunities, cultivate relationships, and monitor market trends.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Business, General Business, Finance
- Proven track record of originating/trading in the grains and commodity industry
- Strong existing network of relevant contacts in the grains and commodity industry
- Expert knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, market values, pricing and margin factors
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to learn, prioritize, and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate with coworkers effectively
