Direct Counsel is seeking a Corporate Associate – Mergers & Acquisitions Attorney to join a sophisticated and growing corporate practice at a highly respected East Coast-based law firm with a national and international platform.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
  • Admission in good standing in the jurisdiction where the candidate intends to practice
  • 5–7 years of corporate transactional experience with a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions
  • Experience handling sophisticated M&A transactions from inception through closing
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Excellent writing, communication, and client service abilities
  • Ability to manage complex transactions efficiently and with strong attention to detail
  • Experience working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
