Job Description
Direct Counsel is seeking a Senior Attorney to join a leading Am Law firm in its New York office. The ideal candidate will act as a key legal architect for high-profile client portfolios, overseeing complex deal execution, corporate governance, and risk management.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of corporate/M&A experience, ideally at a Vault 50 firm or sophisticated boutique focused on private equity
  • Proven ability to analyze complex transactions and structures, and understand underlying business mechanics
  • JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
  • Strong autonomy and emotional intelligence; capable of interfacing directly with senior executives and outside advisors
  • Excellent drafting, research, analytical, and communication skills

Benefits
