Job Description
We are seeking a Metallurgist / Materials Science Process Engineer to join our Hot Annealing and Pickling Line team at our mill in Calvert, North Mobile County, AL. The Process Engineer will build and oversee the design and production of a facility’s processes, collaborate with production managers, and ensure the facility meets safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience, with at least 2 years in a Process Engineer role.
  • Proficiency in Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems software applications. SAP, preferred.
  • Familiarity with software package applications. Minitab, CAD preferred.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
