Metallurgist I

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Chemistry, or related Engineering discipline
• Knowledge of basic principles and methods used in metallurgical and processing analyses
• Ability to conduct research and analyze information to draw valid conclusions
• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
• Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
