Job Description
WLIO is looking for a weekend Meteorologist/Weekday Reporter to present the weather during our weekend 6 & 11pm newscasts on our NBC Station. Responsibilities include live weather casts, post weather casts on our website and Facebook page, and shooting, writing, and editing stories for our newscasts. We use ENPS and Adobe Premiere and shoot on Canon XA 50 cameras.

Requirements

  • Meteorology based 4 year degree
  • Communications/Journalism minor is welcome
  • Taped reel of your on-air weather casts
