Role OverviewPerform troubleshooting, testing, repair, and maintenance of water meters and related infrastructure. Work under supervision to ensure accuracy and reliability of water metering devices. Operate a City vehicle daily to travel to various worksites.
What You Will Do
Perform preventative maintenance, investigate customer complaints, and record locations and details of work performed. Operate a motor vehicle safely and communicate effectively with employees, customers, and supervisors.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have knowledge of basic principles of water flow meters, plumbing tools, and safe driving principles. Ability to work safely, communicate clearly, and establish cooperative working relationships.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Texas driver's license
- TCEQ D Water License
- Bloodborne Pathogens training and HazCom training
