Job Description
Yaskawa is searching for a Drives Application Engineering Manager to provide leadership and oversight within applications engineering to facility YAI Drives sales with existing and target customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with focus studies in electrical, mechanical, computer engineering, or Mechatronics
  • Minimum 10+ years field experience or equivalent involving YAI or competitor product lines, applications, and projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including technical writing and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong organization skills and strong time management with a team approach
  • Ability to mentor and answer technical questions from “A”, “B”, and “C” level engineers
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft OS, Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), MS Project, CAD programming environments, etc.
  • Experience with Industrial Networks: Ethernet IP, Modbus TCP/IP, PROFINET, Modbus RTU, and BacNet MSTP preferred
  • Thorough working knowledge of electrical field test equipment
