Role OverviewThe Manager of Health Information Management (HIM) is responsible for the operational, regulatory, and performance oversight of HIM services across Marshall Health Network and its affiliated entities.
What You Will Do
Provide system-wide leadership for Health Information Management operations, standardize HIM workflows, and oversee clinical validation and DRG validation denials.

Requirements
- Degree in Health Information Technology from an American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) approved program or a bachelor's degree in a health-related field
- Active AHIMA credential (RHIA or RHIT) preferred
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible leadership experience in Health Information Management within an acute care healthcare environment
- Experience with electronic health record implementation or conversion projects required
- Direct experience with Cerner implementation or conversion projects strongly preferred
