Role OverviewPerform routine microbiological testing to support product quality and safety, ensuring compliance with USP, cGMP, and ISO 17025 standards.

Perform and result routine microbiological testing, interpret test results, and record, report, and investigate unexpected test results.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in microbiology or related science field
- At least 12 semester hours of hands-on laboratory courses in microbiology and/or chemistry
- 0 to 2 years of pharmaceutical/biochemical QC laboratory experience
- Demonstrated relevant experience in a microbiology laboratory (Q.C., pharmaceutical, biotech or clinical lab experience preferred)
- Ability to multitask within a single task and multiple tasks when applicable
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, with some supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge and understanding of microbiology principles and methods
- Ability to solve routine laboratory issues/problems
- Physical dexterity to accurately and precisely perform testing
- Ability to read, understand, and comply with Company policies and SOPs, including safety rules and regulations
- Entry level computer skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to stay on task to complete work in a timely manner
- The ability to adapt and learn new skills as needed
