Job Description
The Mid-Level Back End Developer will design, build, and maintain highly available infrastructure across virtualized and hybrid cloud environments, leveraging modern configuration management and infrastructure-as-code practices to improve scalability, consistency, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in Agile or DevOps-oriented environments and understands how software development lifecycle practices apply to infrastructure and system management.

Requirements

  • Design, build, and maintain highly available infrastructure across virtualized and hybrid cloud environments
  • Apply analytical skills to support process improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical deliverables
  • Perform back-end engineering activities in support of system design, development, and integration efforts
  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs, databases, and data models
  • Optimize and enhance backend systems through data modeling, performance tuning, and integration support across applications and services
  • Apply specialized technical expertise to ensure solutions are aligned with system requirements, technical standards, and mission needs
