Role OverviewRyder is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Roseville, Michigan, providing a stable company for your career with weekly pay and excellent benefits. The technician will perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties, diagnose mechanical and electronic problems, and interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints.
What You Will Do
The technician will perform standard vehicle maintenance, component inspections and repairs, preventive maintenance, and diagnose standard mechanical and electronic problems. They will also replace defective components, perform facility maintenance duties, and work in accordance with federal/provincial and corporate compliance guidelines.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, vocational or technical certification, and demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines. They will also have a valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) and be able to obtain a CDL within 6 months after hire.
