Role OverviewAs a mid-level Electrical Engineer in the BESS group, you will be responsible for performing engineering design and analysis under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer. You will be a part of an integrated design team and are responsible for coordinating with team members to meet project schedules and deliverables on time and within the defined budget.
What You Will Do
Collaborates with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to perform detailed physical and electrical design and engineering for all aspects of battery energy storage systems (BESS). Prepares computer-based models and performs power system studies on utility scale BESS projects as required.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have 1-4 years of relevant engineering or field experience, and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution. Proficiency in AutoCAD and effective written and oral communications skills are required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
- 1-4 years of relevant engineering or field experience
- FE, PE is a plus, but not required
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Possesses effective written and oral communications skills
