Role OverviewThe mid-level mechanical consultant completes mechanical design with little direction or input from supervisor/mentor from project start through Construction Administration on a project of average complexity. This role involves working on mechanical design, understanding code requirements, and applying them to the project. The consultant will also seek feedback/validation on design decisions and demonstrate the ability to learn and apply designs of increasing complexity.
What You Will Do
Perform individual aspects of mechanical engineering as it relates to individually assigned projects. This includes HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and cross-discipline coordination. The consultant will also perform self-QC on work, plan for/seek peer review, and see the mechanical construction of the project through completion.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or an Architectural Engineering Degree
- Passing Fundamentals of Engineering Exam preferred
- 2-8 years of experience
- Ability to work in Revit/Microsoft Office/HVAC Load Analysis Program (HAP or TRACE)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service capabilities
- Ability to work more than 40 hours per week to meet project deadlines
- Ability to drive to project sites and perform customary field work
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work in the United States
