Role OverviewWisEngineering is seeking a motivated and experienced Software Engineer with 5+ years of professional software engineering experience to join our team in support of development programs at Picatinny Arsenal. In this role, you will work closely with management and the Product Development Team to analyze, design, code, test, and improve mission-critical software systems across multiple platforms.
What You Will Do
Perform full-lifecycle software development—from system analysis and architectural design to coding and maintenance—across C++, C#, Java, and Android applications. Build and maintain automated testing suites (unit and integration testing) using standard frameworks to ensure software quality prior to deployment.

Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship Required (No exceptions). Active Secret Clearance preferred, or U.S. Citizen eligible for an immediate interim Secret clearance.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience beyond internships and education.
- Computer Science degree preferred (or Bachelor’s Degree B.A./B.S. from an accredited four-year college/university/equivalent); CompTIA Security+ preferred.
- Proficient in C++, C#, and Java.
- Proven experience with Android software development, Android Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio, Git, Linux, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Hands-on experience developing automated tests and writing test scripts using XML.
