Job Description
Seeking a Senior Mechanisms Engineer to support the development, assembly, integration, and testing of advanced space-flight mechanisms, with a focus on deployment hardware for orbital platforms and contributing to both new development and sustaining engineering activities.

Requirements

  • Participate in iterative mechanism design improvements
  • Perform and lead tests, including defining requirements, developing materials, processes, and tooling
  • Contribute to design, analysis, and trade studies to optimize mechanism AI&T
  • Provide feedback to design teams to enhance manufacturing flow, cost efficiency, and layout
  • Generate product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
  • Apply sound engineering principles in executing design and analysis
  • Troubleshoot and investigate anomalies, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
  • Provide manufacturing engineering support to production teams
