Role Overview

KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools seeks middle school teachers for our fifth through eighth grade classrooms in the 2026-27 school year. Teachers are assigned one grade level and are responsible for creating a positive classroom environment, implementing curriculum, assessing students, collaborating with their team, building relationships with families, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Relevant Florida Teaching Certification or Eligibility for Certification in one of the following areas:
  • Elementary Education K-6 for 5th or 6th grade ELA.
  • English 5-9 for grades 5,6,7, or 8.
  • English 6-12 for grades 6,7, or 8.
  • At least one complete year of teaching experience with a proven track-record of high achievement in the classroom
  • Passing a background check, as required by law
