Job Description
Uncommon Schools is seeking a passionate and engaging Middle School Science Teacher to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to engage in scientific inquiry. Teachers will develop curriculum, analyze student work, and foster a love for science in a collaborative classroom setting, preparing students for success in college and beyond.
Requirements
Demonstrated commitment to supporting students’ social emotional and academic development
Enthusiasm for collaborating with internal and external partners
Self-directed learning and implementation of feedback
Academic expertise in Science or related field
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or certification meeting NY state requirements
