Role OverviewA skilled MIG Welder for Lennox AES at our Tallassee, AL location is responsible for performing welding tasks with precision and expertise. They work with various materials, such as galvanized steel and aluminum, interpret blueprints, and ensure the quality and integrity of our products (roof curbs, drop boxes, etc.).
What You Will Do
Fabricate custom and standard products from blueprints with high attention to detail and efficiency. Conduct visual inspections of welded components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Work closely with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and successful project completion.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Familiar with safe welding practices. Capable of learning to read fabrication drawings with some instruction. Must be physically capable of loading fabrication parts onto the weld table. Must be quality oriented with strong attention to detail.
Requirements
- Familiar with safe welding practices

- Must be physically capable of loading fabrication parts onto the weld table
- Capable of blueprint reading and interpretation skills
- Individual must be a self-starter and need minimal guidance on daily task
- Must be quality oriented with strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, diagrams
- Individual must have a working knowledge of MIG welding machines with respect to preventive maintenance and control settings to obtain maximum efficiencies
- Able to move objects weighing up to 75 pounds
