MILITARY HONOR GUARD SPECIALIST LEAD

Requirements

• Leads, coordinates, assigns and reviews the tasks of team members performing Military Funeral Ceremonies.
• Conducts regular inspections of team uniforms, equipment, vehicles, weapons and supplies.
• Performs tasks in any of a number of specialized team positions such as pall bearing, folding and/or presentation of the United States Flag according to standard procedures.
• Executes military drill and ceremony maneuvers.
• Operates, maintains and safeguards military weapons.
• Travels frequently within an assigned geographical area.
• Prepares various reports.
• Conducts drill and ceremony training and instructions for funeral details.
