Job Description
Domtar is seeking Mill Technician candidates with Operational, Maintenance, and Electronic/Instrumentation (E&I) skills to join the Marlboro Paper Mill in Bennettsville, SC. As a Mill Technician, you will be responsible for evaluating and correcting problems, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining proper documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of continuous employment preferred, and preferably in a manufacturing facility, OR have an Associate degree in engineering, electronics or science
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Willing to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment, work at heights, in confined spaces, around noise, and in inclement weather
  • Ability to train in and comprehend complex process systems
  • Excellent prior work history and safety record
  • Experienced skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • High math ability with a minimum score of 6 on WorkKeys Math Test
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills
  • History of demonstrated helpfulness and “can do” attitude
