Job Description
The Millwright installs, repairs, replaces, and dismantles machinery and heavy equipment in industrial settings, performing duties such as aligning machines, repairing and lubricating equipment, and constructing foundations.

Requirements

  • Install, repair, replace, and dismantle machinery and heavy equipment
  • Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs
  • Repair and lubricate machines and equipment
  • Assemble and install equipment, using hand tools and power tools
  • Dismantle machines, using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools
  • Operate engine lathe to grind, file, and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications
