Role OverviewWe are seeking a Millwright Foreman to supervise and direct a group of workers engaged chiefly in one occupation. The Foreman position exercises independent judgment and reports to the General Foreman or Supervisor. The role involves performing a variety of routine duties within established policies, upholding company safety guidelines, and ensuring job site materials and equipment are in good condition.
What You Will Do
The Millwright Foreman will interpret blueprints, sketches, written and/or verbal orders, assign duties, and inspect work to ensure adherence to company standards. They will also train and assist workers in the performance of their duties, supervise and coordinate activities of assigned construction workers, and implement safety programs.
Why It Might Be a Fit
To be successful in this role, you should have a high school or equivalent education, minimum two years of experience as a Mechanic A/Journeyman, and possess basic leadership/mentor skills. Knowledge of NCCER Crew Leader Certification is preferred.
