Job Description
The Mechanical Assembler Youth Apprentice is responsible for producing and assembling machine(s) and machine parts according to specifications, including reading and following blueprints and operating material handling equipment.

Requirements

  • Reads and follows entry-level blueprints, shop orders, specifications, and other instructions
  • Measures parts accurately using scales, micrometers, and calipers
  • Utilize overhead crane and rigging procedures
  • Operate material handling equipment
  • Maintains a clean work area
  • Prepares parts for painting
  • Department clean up and improvement projects
