Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Mine Design and Planning Specialist to support the USTDA Global Critical Minerals Project Scoping Services. You will develop mine designs, schedules, production plans, and optimization models.
What You Will Do
Provide technical leadership and analysis, support project scoping, assessments, and reporting, contribute to stakeholder consultations and presentations, ensure compliance with international standards and best practices, and support proposal and project delivery activities.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This position is contingent upon contract award, and the anticipated period of performance will be approximately two years. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mine design and planning, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; international project experience preferred
- Strong reporting and communication skills
- Critical minerals, mining infrastructure, Africa, Latin America, or Indo-Pacific assignments preferred
