Role OverviewThe Mine Operations Supervisor is responsible for directing the assistant mine supervisors in their execution of the mine plan with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency. The role involves assigning crews and equipment to specific tasks, supervising crew activities, and developing crew skills to levels of maximum efficiency and safety. The supervisor will also be responsible for management of assistant supervisors, monitoring equipment availability, and ensuring training and opportunities for all personnel.
What You Will Do
The day-to-day responsibilities of the Mine Operations Supervisor include assigning crews and equipment to specific tasks, supervising crew activities, developing crew skills, addressing individual and team issues, and discussing daily priorities and production goals with the Mine General Supervisor & Assistant Mine Supervisors.

Requirements
- Five years of heavy equipment operating experience in a mining or construction environment
- Two years of direct supervisory experience in a mine production environment
- Valid driver's license
- Background check required
