Job Description

The Mitigation Coordinator will manage a portfolio of defaulted loans and mitigate losses by negotiating with borrowers, investors, and realtors to develop and implement appropriate solutions to avoid foreclosure.

Requirements

  • Contacts mortgagors and others to negotiate and arrange resolution of defaulted loans
  • Determines strategies for resolution on severely delinquent loans
  • Maintains required records for modifications, short-sales, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, and reinstatements
  • Performs other duties as assigned
