Job Description
This position is for a Mixed Abilities-Elementary Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at Woodman Elementary School. The teacher will plan, lead, and provide instruction for maximum student learning in their least restrictive learning environment, following each student's standards-based Individual Education Program (IEP).

Requirements

  • Plans according to state standards and student IEPS
  • Participates in pre-assessment teams and IEP meetings
  • Communicates with parents, regular education staff, and other stakeholders
  • Provides differentiated instruction based on individual student needs
  • Controls classroom and teaches individual behavior
  • Presents various learning opportunities and evaluates student progress
  • Designs subject-based reinforcement and grading system
  • Provides a positive role model and develops classroom rules and structure
